The Royal Scots Club is often praised for its prime location, allowing easy access to central Edinburgh, the castle, and the National Gallery, with many finding it a comfortable walk to the main attractions. Guests appreciate the building's historical charm and character, as well as the well-appointed, clean, and spacious rooms, some featuring views of the city and the Firth of Forth; also, amenities like tea, coffee, and biscuits are commonly mentioned as a plus. While some guests have noted that the cooked breakfast could be better, the overall experience is generally considered good value for money.
